David enjoys riding his bike and since Spencer and Gemma (almost) can ride their bikes, he was hoping we could do family rides. However, we didn't have a trailer for Gianna. Well, Father's Day came early this year, (I get too excited when I have a gift I know he'll love.)
Tonight David hooked up the trailer and then tried to get Gianna into it. I wish I would have had the camera - she was having a royal fit.....then once she was strapped in and David started riding - she was in heaven! She loved it! Yeah!
This evil face was when it was time to get out of the trailer. Actually, I think it was just pure luck that I took the photo when I did....I can just hear her saying, "Don't even think of taking me out of this!"
Happy (early) Father's Day David!! Here's to a summer of many bike rides!!!!
ps - I know she needs a helmet - I'll be getting one tomorrow. This was just a trial ride in our yard!!!!
Since the children are getting older, David and I are now letting them choose where they would like to go for their birthday dinner. Spencer chose McDonald's Play land....WHAT A SHOCK! This also happened to be the first time we took Gianna to a play land....fortunately she was a little gun shy and didn't want to explore too much! But I'm sure it'll be a matter of time before she climbs to the top and then David or I will need to climb in to help her!
Dining on our fine cuisine!
Little Miss Cheesy! My first baby...
Coming down the slide. I think I took 12 pictures trying to get Gemma and Spencer coming down from the slide. This is the only one that turned out!
Oh oh! I think she found the video games!
This was a staged attempt at a slide shot!
When we got home, I decided I needed a few pictures with my babies. They were kind enough to humor me for a few pictures.
Today, my sweet baby boy turns 7 years old! How does the time fly by so quickly? We celebrated this special occasion yesterday with a bowling party. Spencer and seven of his friends had a great time! The bowling alley gives the birthday child a pin for all the friends to sign. Spencer is "personalizing" his!
Here is an "action" shot. Actually, the kids are waiting for David to get someone to fix the score board - I kinda messed up when entering the names....I started the game without entering the names...details details!
Spencer's cool cousin Elizabeth decided the party looked so fun, she had to come and hang-out with us!
Gemma and daddy.
Me with my "baby" boy!
After bowling we had some cheese pizza! Believe it or not - for pizza from a bowling alley, it wasn't too bad! Spencer wanted a Star Wars cake - and that's exactly I bought for him!
While shopping at Target the other day, Gianna befriended a fellow shopper (mom with baby). I swear she said, "Hi there, baby!" Ever since, she and I have been saying it to each other. I finally thought to record it for memories sake.
