A Walk in the Park

Today, Gianna and I met David for lunch. We decided to take a little walk in the park since the weather was so lovely - and since Gianna wanted OUT of the stroller! Here she is enjoying her freedom!

Gianna was waving to a group of children walking by.

Time for daddy to go back to work. :(

Spencer's Birthday - part 2

Since the children are getting older, David and I are now letting them choose where they would like to go for their birthday dinner. Spencer chose McDonald's Play land....WHAT A SHOCK! This also happened to be the first time we took Gianna to a play land....fortunately she was a little gun shy and didn't want to explore too much! But I'm sure it'll be a matter of time before she climbs to the top and then David or I will need to climb in to help her!

Dining on our fine cuisine!

Little Miss Cheesy!
My first baby...

Coming down the slide. I think I took 12 pictures trying to get Gemma and Spencer coming down from the slide. This is the only one that turned out!

Oh oh! I think she found the video games!

This was a staged attempt at a slide shot!

When we got home, I decided I needed a few pictures with my babies. They were kind enough to humor me for a few pictures.

Happy Birthday, Spencer!

Today, my sweet baby boy turns 7 years old! How does the time fly by so quickly?

We celebrated this special occasion yesterday with a bowling party. Spencer and seven of his friends had a great time! The bowling alley gives the birthday child a pin for all the friends to sign. Spencer is "personalizing" his!

Here is an "action" shot. Actually, the kids are waiting for David to get someone to fix the score board - I kinda messed up when entering the names....I started the game without entering the names...details details!

Spencer's cool cousin Elizabeth decided the party looked so fun, she had to come and hang-out with us!

Gemma and daddy.

Me with my "baby" boy!

After bowling we had some cheese pizza! Believe it or not - for pizza from a bowling alley, it wasn't too bad!
Spencer wanted a Star Wars cake - and that's exactly I bought for him!

Making a wish!

Happy Birthday, Bamma!

Today Gianna and I surprised my mom at work with flowers and a blueberry scone for her birthday.

Gianna decided to "read" the card to Bamma.
Once at Bamma's office, Gianna decided it was time to get to work.

She loved the adding machine! I may need to get one for her to use at home!

And before we left, Bamma took us into the kitchen for a snack!

Hope you had a great birthday Bamma (mom), we love you!!! xoxo

Multi-tasking

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....Who should I call? I know, Daddy!
Let's see how many things I can do at one time.

Let's see what the big kids are up to...

Excuse me, I'm on the phone!

Hi there, baby!

While shopping at Target the other day, Gianna befriended a fellow shopper (mom with baby). I swear she said, "Hi there, baby!" Ever since, she and I have been saying it to each other. I finally thought to record it for memories sake.

The Children's Museum

I had the pleasure of chaperoning Gemma's class yesterday at the Children's Museum. Here are a few pics from our day.... This is when we first arrived and were being greeted by the staff.
The kids stopped long enough for me to take this picture before exploring the ant tunnels.
Gemma playing on the rooftop playground.
Facepainting.
Our day is done. (And I was so ready for a nap!)

Dance Recital!

Gemma has been taking dance since she was 2 1/2 years old. Her first recital was at age 4 and she has been loving it ever since. As usual, I followed her around like her own personal paparazzi and captured the evening. This isn't the best photo I've ever taken.....

Even though this looks like a mug shot, it's really just us waiting backstage! Here are some more photos of Gemma with Gianna and her friends before the show.

Bamma came backstage before the show to get a sneak peak at her beautiful ballerina.

Nonna and Joshua enjoyed the show too. Grandpa couldn't make it this year - he wasn't feeling well and decided it was best to stay home. Hope your back to normal soon, Grandpa! We missed you!

After the show, I finally asked someone to take a family photo! (Yeah - I'm in a photo!)

I wanted to include Gianna, but she was not wanting to cooperate! Believe it or not - Spencer enjoys going to the recital. He has a very important job - to give Gemma her flowers. I think he thinks they're from him! :)

Sweet Faces

I caught the girls laying on the floor looking at their reflections in doors of the fireplace. I couldn't resist capturing their sweet faces. I especially liked how Gianna was trying to copy her big sister!
